Description du poste
Context This role supports the Group Corporate Compliance function, acting as second line of defence, with its primary focus on the financial crime topic set: anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT), know-your-customer and customer due diligence (KYC/CDD), fraud, and sanctions. The role also carries a lighter, secondary involvement in ethics and conduct topics — anti-bribery and corruption, gifts and entertainment, and conflicts of interest — where capacity allows and in support of colleagues who own that area. Financial crime remains the core of the role at all times; ethics and conduct work is additive, not a parallel full workload. The role works in coordination with local compliance officers where applicable, under the Group's allocation of responsibilities, with the Group Corporate Compliance function retaining final decision authority on all in-scope topics. Core Missions — Financial Crime (primary) Customer due diligence and anti-money laundering - Perform and review customer due diligence and know-your-customer files, including enhanced due diligence for higher-risk profiles, as a second line of defence function and in cases escalated by the first line - Contribute operational and subject-matter input to the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation implementation project Fraud and sanctions - Support fraud risk assessments and case handling, in liaison with relevant business and control functions - Contribute to fraud prevention procedures and awareness materials - Support sanctions screening and escalation processes where relevant to Group entities Controls, reviews and reporting - Perform second line controls (permanent and periodic) testing first-line application of financial crime policies - Conduct thematic reviews on selected topics or entities, such as customer due diligence file quality - Document findings, track remediation actions, and report results to Group Corporate Compliance management Regulatory watch and advisory - Monitor regulatory developments on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions, including EU-level texts and jurisdiction-specific requirements, and maintain the regulatory watch log for this topic set - Provide day-to-day financial crime compliance advisory to business lines Secondary Missions — Ethics & Conduct (as capacity allows) - Contribute to review and validation of gifts and entertainment declarations against policy thresholds - Support conflict of interest declaration assessment and escalation where financial crime workload permits - Provide occasional back-up on anti-bribery and corruption advisory requests and insider list or restricted employee monitoring Deliverables - Customer due diligence and know-your-customer files to Group standard, including enhanced due diligence files - Fraud case documentation and contribution to fraud prevention materials - Financial crime control plans, thematic review reports, and remediation tracking - Regulatory watch entries and impact assessments for the financial crime topic set - Input to the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation implementation project - Ad hoc contributions to ethics and conduct registers and declarations, as a secondary output - Periodic reporting to GCC management
