Role Description The Avocat will provide legal advice and representation to clients, with a particular focus on matters related to labor and employment law and broader business law issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing legal documents, drafting contracts and legal opinions, preparing case files, and conducting legal research to support negotiations and litigation. The role involves meeting with clients to assess their needs, developing strategies to protect their interests, and participating in hearings or other proceedings as required. This is a full-time, on-site position based in La Mulatière, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and close interaction with local clients and institutions. The Avocat will also contribute to internal knowledge sharing and support the firm’s service quality and professional standards. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles across various case types. - Demonstrated expertise in Labor and Employment Law, including advising on workplace regulations and disputes. - Proficiency in Legal Advice and client counseling, with a focus on clear, practical guidance. - Advanced Research skills to identify relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedents. - Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes and securing favorable outcomes for clients. - Law degree and admission to the bar, with authorization to practice as an Avocat in France. - Excellent written and oral communication skills in French; proficiency in English is an asset. - Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and within a team. - High ethical standards, professional integrity, and strong client-service orientation. - Experience in financial services or business law environments is beneficial.
