ENTER THE GAME As a Legal & Compliance Intern, you will join the France Compliance team, whose role is to ensure Betclic complies with the French legal and regulatory framework governing gambling. YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC In this role, your main missions will be: - Assist with the management of mediation cases handled by the French Gambling Ombudsman. - Assist with litigation management in coordination with Betclic's legal counsel. - Monitor regulatory and case law developments affecting the gambling industry. - Prepare legal analyses and briefing notes on a range of legal issues. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm! This job is for you if: - You are currently in the second year of a Master's degree, at a French Bar School, or IEJ - You have at least 6 months of experience, through an internship or work-study programme, in consumer law or litigation - You possess strong organisational skills, a curious mindset, and you are motivated to learn and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic and international work environment - You have a strong interest in gambling or sports - And finally, you speak English fluently WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning). Next, you will meet Manon, Legal and Compliance Counsel, your future manager, followed by Alexandre, Compliance Manager. Finally,  Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together. The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
