About the Role

Join the high-profile Group Legal team at a leading global insurer. As part of the Group M&A legal team, you will act as a key advisor on major international and transversal projects supporting global strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Management: Lead end-to-end execution of complex M&A, joint ventures, partnerships, and corporate transformation projects (handling deals over €20M, including public takeovers and major cross-border transactions).
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage external counsel, coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, tax,HR, investor relations), and interface directly with executive leadership and board committees.
• Pragmatic Legal Delivery: Provide strategic, business-friendly legal solutions, balance commercial objectives with regulatory compliance, and navigate significant execution and reputational risks.
• Innovation: Devise cutting-edge legal structures to drive complex strategic transformations.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience with first-ranking international law firm training.
• Bilingual fluency in English and French.
• High drive, resilience under pressure, and strong autonomy.
• Executive presence (gravitas) with the ability to challenge senior management and influence cross-functional teams.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally on short notice for a multicultural work environment.
