Litigation Lawyer (France) Job Type: Independent Contractor Location: Remote — France Compensation: $150–$160/hour (approximately $312,000–$332,800 annualized , based on 40 hours/week) Eligible Country France About The Opportunity We are seeking experienced litigation and disputes lawyers to help evaluate how effectively advanced AI systems answer real-world questions involving French law . You will serve as an expert legal reviewer, comparing responses generated by two AI platforms and assessing their accuracy, legal reasoning, and overall quality against a standardized evaluation framework. This is a specialized opportunity for practitioners with strong knowledge of French litigation and procedural law who are interested in the intersection of legal practice and AI. What You'll Do - Run the same legal prompts across two AI platforms. - Compare the generated responses side by side. - Evaluate the accuracy, relevance, completeness, and legal reasoning of each response. - Score responses against a standardized rubric. - Provide concise, specific written feedback supporting each evaluation. - Apply your professional legal judgment consistently across evaluation tasks. Requirements - 2+ years of law-firm experience in litigation, disputes, or contentious practice; 3+ years preferred. - Current in-house lawyers may qualify only if they moved in-house within the past 2 years and previously practiced at a law firm. - Qualified to practise law in France as an avocat/e. - Strong command of French litigation and procedural law. - Native or fluent French, with precise written communication skills. - Strong analytical and legal reasoning abilities. - Ability to distinguish accurate legal analysis from flawed, incomplete, or unsupported responses. - Ability to work independently against a defined rubric and meet deadlines. Project Details - Initial commitment: Approximately 10 hours, with strong potential for additional work. - Work arrangement: Fully remote with flexible scheduling. - Confidentiality: All project work is covered by an NDA. - Independent contractor engagement. - Payments are made weekly based on services rendered. - Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance. - H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported.
