You will work closely with local leadership and global Legal, IPR and Compliance colleagues, contributing to a consistent, high-quality approach across International Operations and Critical Care.

Your role :
As our new Legal and Compliance Manager, you will provide qualified, pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice for the French market. You will support the effective implementation of LEO Pharma’s compliance programs, including global policies and projects, while helping the organization take a risk-intelligent approach to compliance.
You will be a close partner to the local affiliate leadership team and a trusted advisor across the business. Your work will span commercial contracting, compliance advisory, risk management, privacy, competition law, disputes and internal investigations.
Your key responsibilities for the French affiliate will include:
- Act as a legal and compliance business partner and trusted advisor.
- Participate in the local affiliate leadership team and contribute strategic legal and compliance perspectives.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, providing strategic and legal advice in negotiations.
- Monitor relevant local compliance regulations and requirements, assess potential business impact and co-drive solutions where risks or opportunities arise.
- Advise on anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters, including implementation of our third-party compliance management processes.
- Provide advice on high-risk or complex HCP compliance matters and local marketing compliance topics.
- Advise on privacy-related topics and competition law matters.
- Support dispute and litigation handling and resolution, including strategic input on potential outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across the business to strengthen understanding of legal and compliance requirements.
- Support selected internal investigations in the market on an ad hoc basis.

Your qualifications :
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, ideally complemented by a Master’s degree in Law.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from a private law firm and/or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong legal skills combined with solid commercial understanding and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French;
- Compliance certifications and experience are considered an asset.

You will join IO and CC Legal & Compliance and work closely with colleagues across Global Legal, IPR and Compliance, the local French Leadership Team and commercial organsiation, Finance, and specialist functions such as Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Quality Assurance.
