The role supports the management and optimization of IT services partnerships and the development of contract management practices in an international environment.
You will oversee the contract lifecycle for IT services and, where relevant, software and hardware contracts, from defining requirements and reviewing terms to negotiation, execution, renewal and ongoing governance. You will help ensure that contracts comply with L’Oréal’s standards, sourcing strategy and internal requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the contract portfolio and lifecycle: Coordinate reviews, renewals, amendments, extensions and end-of-contract activities with IT owners, Legal, Purchasing, Cybersecurity, Finance, suppliers and signatories. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up.
- Review and negotiate contracts: Draft, review and negotiate IT agreements—including MSAs, service agreements, application contracts and amendments—in partnership with Legal and Purchasing. Support alignment with standard templates and requirements covering areas such as cybersecurity, data privacy and sustainability.
- Support sourcing and service transformation: Help implement sourcing models such as onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery, and support supplier transitions, consolidation, managed services, Agile delivery and other VMO-led optimization initiatives.
- Manage supplier governance and performance: Support contractual and performance governance for key IT suppliers, including contract obligations, KPIs, SLAs, risks, escalations and improvement or renegotiation opportunities.
- Advise and coordinate with stakeholders: Guide IT teams through contract processes, clarify contractual terms and identify key provisions and risks, such as termination, liability and discounts. Prepare clear summaries of complex agreements and coordinate with internal support teams throughout sourcing and contracting activities.
- Maintain data, reporting and knowledge resources: Keep contract trackers, databases and central repositories accurate and up to date. Provide expiry alerts, prepare regular dashboards and executive-ready presentations, and maintain VMO processes, handbooks, SOPs and shared knowledge libraries.
