Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Paris, covering Floor Staff (Visitor & Information Services), Assistants, and a Contract Manager within Elite Events International’s event operations. Day-to-day tasks for Floor Staff include welcoming visitors, providing information about event programs and venue logistics, guiding participant flows, and responding to questions in a professional and service-oriented manner. Assistants support project and event managers by coordinating schedules, preparing event materials, tracking registrations, updating documentation, and communicating with speakers, suppliers, and internal teams. The Contract Manager oversees contractual arrangements with clients, venues, and suppliers, ensuring terms are clear, compliant, and aligned with project requirements, and monitors contract execution, timelines, and budget-related obligations. All team members collaborate closely to maintain smooth on-site operations, uphold client service standards, and contribute to consistently well-organised, high-quality events.
Qualifications
- Strong visitor and client service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, welcoming presence with diverse international audiences.
- Organizational and coordination abilities, such as schedule management, documentation handling, multitasking under time pressure, and attention to detail in fast-paced event environments.
- Experience with contract and administrative processes, including basic contract review, supplier coordination, documentation tracking, and compliance with agreed procedures.
- Teamwork and collaboration capabilities, including working effectively with project managers, technical staff, suppliers, and other floor personnel to support seamless event execution.
- Problem-solving and adaptability, with the capacity to handle unexpected situations on-site, manage visitor inquiries, and adjust to changing event requirements.
- Fluency in English and French; additional European languages are an asset.
- Comfort with digital tools and event-related software (e.g., registration platforms, office productivity tools, communication applications).
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or contract administration is highly beneficial.
