Description du poste
**About** Inflowpay is rewriting the rules of cross-border payments. Merchants who switch to us make 10% more revenue on average, instantly. Higher acceptance rates, better conversion, lower fees. That's not marketing, that's the switch. Until now, selling worldwide meant what only huge companies could afford: local entities everywhere, dozens of people managing banks, and still waiting days to get paid. We flipped that. With Inflowpay, any business gets the same weapons as the giants, without the army behind them. Accept cards locally in every market, sell anywhere, and get settled instantly to a wallet you control. We're live, revenue-generating, and growing fast with a lean team based in Paris, operating globally. **Job Description** You'll be our Compliance/AML Officer, owning compliance end-to-end. Merchant onboarding, KYC, KYB, AML and CFT, merchant acceptance, and ongoing monitoring. In a Merchant of Record business, compliance is not back-office. It's the front door. Every hour you shave off onboarding is revenue landing faster, and every sharp review protects the entire platform. You'll be the face of our compliance toward banking partners and providers, working directly with the founders. **What You'll Do** - Run merchant onboardings and RFIs end-to-end: verify that every file is complete and correct before submission, chase banking partners for answers, follow up with merchants by email and WhatsApp, and relentlessly strip friction out of the process until onboarding feels effortless - Own KYC, KYB, AML and CFT as our Compliance/AML Officer: you represent Inflowpay's compliance posture in front of banking partners, PSPs and auditors, and you keep our framework sharp as we add corridors and entities - Drive merchant acceptance: run merchant reviews and make the calls together with the cofounders, document every decision, and continuously raise the speed and quality of the review process without lowering the bar - Monitor live merchants through our fraud and transaction monitoring tools, detect anomalies early, issue RFIs to the merchants concerned, and close the loop every time - Automate your own function: use AI to draft RFIs, pre-screen files, extract data from corporate documents, and turn every manual step of onboarding and monitoring into a faster, cleaner workflow **Why Join Inflowpay** - Compliance here is a growth lever, not a cost center. Faster onboarding and sharper reviews directly move revenue - Zero merchant churn since launch. You protect a base that stays - Remote, async-first, built around output not hours - Early enough that your work visibly moves the number, and you'll shape the compliance function itself, not inherit one **Preferred Experience** The most important thing: you've done this before at a payments company and you have proof. **Beyond That** - High agency, fast execution, strong slope. You learn faster than the market moves - AI native. You already use AI daily to automate, speed up and sharpen your own processes, and you treat every manual task as something to eliminate, not endure - You've owned merchant or client onboarding at a regulated PSP, MoR, EMI, acquirer or crypto platform, not just executed checklists someone else wrote - You know KYB inside out: corporate structures, UBOs, source of funds, high-risk verticals, and what a banking partner will actually push back on - You're fluent in AML and CFT frameworks and you can defend a decision in writing to a partner bank or an auditor - Your written communication is precise and fast. RFIs, escalations and partner follow-ups are half the job, and yours get answered - You're comfortable making judgment calls on grey-zone merchants and owning the outcome - You've worked with KYB and monitoring tools like Sumsub, ComplyAdvantage or similar, and you're quick to learn new ones - You work well without a lot of structure. You set your own priorities and you follow through - 3+ years in compliance or onboarding roles in payments, fintech or crypto. Exposure to card scheme rules and multi-jurisdiction entities is a big plus - Bonus: you've built or rebuilt an onboarding process from scratch and can show the before and after **When You Apply, Include** - The onboarding or review process you've most improved. What you changed, what it saved - One idea for how you'd make Inflowpay's onboarding more frictionless in your first 30 days, including where AI does the work - Links to any relevant work No cover letter. We read every application. Recruitment Process - Intro call (30 min) with a co-founder. We talk about your track record and what you'd do here - 2nd call (30min) with the 2nd co-founder - Case discussion (45 min). You walk us through your best campaign and your 30-day plan for Inflowpay, we challenge it together Additional Information - Contract Type: Full-Time - Location: Paris - Experience: > 2 years - Possible partial remote
